Ethan swimming

Both Blythe and Ethan had swimming classes yesterday. Blythe isn't quite "camera-ready" on her class. They worked on kicking again, jumping in off the side (which she's done since she was 18 months old), and arms. They weren't quite getting the arms, so that will take practice (and that's what's going to get her to that dog paddle step where I don't have to worry so much if she accidentally falls in the pool).

Anyway, Ethan had swimming too and I asked the instructor to hold Ethan while I got some video clips of him. Here he is on his stomach, trying to use his arms a bit.

And here he is on his back, just as relaxed as can be. I think we might have a future backstroker on our hands.

And an update on Braden's swimmers - they started the meet last night with 2 relays. They got new school records in both of them, so they're off to an excellent start!
