Picture Day

FINALLY...I got my full 8 hours of sleep last night :) There were no potty accidents and Ethan slept without any fussing all night long. Yeah! I'm sure Ethan was quite tired since yesterday he took a whopping 1 nap at day care for 30 minutes.

Today was picture day at day care. I like this new company that is doing the pictures since you get proofs same day. Ethan had one cute picture. The rest looked like he was staring in amazement at the camera (or likely whatever the camera person was holding up to make him smile). Blythe also has some cute ones. And they took some of the kids together. These pictures usually come out much better than when we take the kids to Sears or wherever because at day care mom and dad aren't there. So - 1. Blythe actually smiles, and 2. Blythe doesn't cry. And apparently she was so excited to take pictures with "her baby Ethan", whereas at Sears when mom and dad try to get her to lay next to him she acts like he has cooties. We did just recently get a bunch of pictures of Ethan at Sears, so we'll probably just order Blythe and the kids together.

We got a package today from Grams that had Halloween lights. We already had some skeleton lights that light up green. Now we also have pumpkin lights and candycorn lights. We also put candles in the pumpkins Braden had carved. So we are all ready for Halloween (except for the other 2 pumpkins that will need to be carved). Here is the front porch all lit up:
